Compared to water-soluble coolant, the cooling effect and oil discharge amount are poor, and the following problems are likely to occur.

 
  • Chipping of cutting edges due to welding up the edge
  • Breakage due to chip jamming caused by an increase in chip size
 
In order to solve the problem, we recommend the following processing method.
 
  • Reduce the cutting speed of the cutting condition table by 30%.
  • Set the feed rate per rotation of the drill to 1.5%~2% of the drill diameter.
  • Insert a step of about 20% of the drill diameter and process. However, at this time, do not pull the drill back, but stop feeding for about 0.1 seconds by Dwell.
