PXMC is a collet that allows you to directly mount the head of the PXM series.

Compared to using the straight shank holder PXMZ for PXM, PXMC enables a much shorter projection length, significantly increasing tool rigidity. 

This improved rigidity allows for greatly enhanced cutting conditions. If the workpiece itself also has sufficient rigidity, high-efficiency machining can be achieved even on compact machining centers. 

PXMC collets can be used with the two-piece holder of the High Pro Shrink Fit System (MST), which OSG has long offered as part of its High Pro series for shrink-fit applications. 

If you already own the MST High Pro Shrink Fit System two-piece holder, you can use it together with a PXM head, PXMC collet, and wrench.
