The PXM head-exchangeable end mill consists of a carbide cutting head and a dedicated PXM holder. 

Compared to solid carbide tools, only the head needs to be replaced, offering a cost advantage for large-diameter machining. The head and holder are clamped with dual-face contact (end face and taper), enabling high-precision installation in a short time during head replacement. 

Compared to indexable tools, PXM provides higher productivity thanks to multiple cutting edges and offers a wide variety of cutting edge shapes to meet diverse requirements. This helps reduce both initial and running costs.
