If galling or tearing occurs on the internal thread during tapping, please check the following points.
Ensure the tap is suitable for the work material.
Check for wear on the chamfer section.
Improve the lubricity of the cutting fluid (increase the concentration if using water-soluble fluid).
Use taps with surface treatment (steam oxide, coating)
Select a tap with a longer chamfer length.
Use a tap with high cutting sharpness.
